Alabama? "Isn't that in the United States?" he questioned curiously. Thank goodness he payed attention in geography before he came to Hogwarts. It was one subject that actually seemed to still be useful around here. "Er, what brings you all the way over here?" Most people around Hogwarts were british, scottish, irish, and occasionally some french Beauxbatons transfers. But you rarely ever get any Americans.

Emmylou, even her name sounded all pretty and exotic. "I'm Zander, it's.. It's nice to meet you," he smiled shyly.
