Noel could tell they couldn't stand each other much. There conversations were all ending with 'huffs' and 'puffs' - no matter if that was all internal.

When her 'So' came, Noel put his hands up in surrender and sighed in exaggeration. "Look you DON'T have to do the ice cream thing. Ice cream is too sacred, it shouldn't be forced!"

Because it was obvious. Wasn't it? She was the smart kid. And he was the one with the dumb arguements. So umm.

And they weren't really walking anymore. They were just standing.
