The cold wind put out a few torches;
POOF! Aww, seriously? It was rrreally cold right now. A bit of light would help a LOT! "Kenaz kenaz ke-" Leah started again, annoyed, as the snow crept up to her shins. But then she heard the professor speak and stopped. Quote:

Interesting question! Ab smiled at the young Gryffindor and gave her a brief, simple answer since they were basically being buried by snow. "There is two sides for every rune. In general, all runes can be good or bad, it depends on the intention of the wizard using them, and the purpose they're used for." He wanted to give her a few shoulder pats but they were kind of on a hurry so... ... oh Merlin, yeah, that was their cue to go back. Botros nodded at the young girl.
"ALRIGHT EVERYONE. Change of plans! Seems like it's a bad night for a stroll down the lake. Hold each other hands and let's get back to the castle! Come on!" Ab grabbed his torch, his wand and his runestone all in one hand and cast a powerful fire spell that illuminated the darkness around them for a second before the upper layer of snow melted under their feet creating a path back to the castle.
"Older students, you can try and melt the snow as we march back up to the castle. It's not a long road, be quick about it! If you can piggyback some younger students, too, that would be so generous. Come come!" The old man hobbled between the students, moving and melting away the thick layers of snow.
He didn't even have time to respond to their brilliant discussion about Kenaz! Pity. Yay they were going back! Though the discussion was fun, her life was more important. The second year turned around, facing the wind and started the not-so-long journey back. "Any firsties need a piggyback?" she asked the crowd generously, not realizing how funny that sounded with her self half-covered in snow. If was not long before she tumbled down and landed face-first on the ground. "Owww." Well she kind of needed a piggyback now. |
