Leisure running. She did that. Just somehow her competitiveness came out when she ran with other people. Then again, it could always be because she usually ran with Jun or one of her old teammates. "I can do leisure. Just yell at me if I pull ahead too much or look like I'm taking it too seriously."
Adelaide shrugged. "I guess, but there are other schools and people that have money and can practice when they go home and such."
At the mention of her biceps again, Cris gazed down at them. "
Hey they're not that bad especially for someone who doesn't physically carry weights to build them up. Your's are like my older sister's. She rows a lot, so that's how she bulks up."
Cris chuckled. Yes he didn't always run competitively, but he had a competitive streak too, only he didn't like to show it when he was running against the female gender. He always believed that he had an unfair advantage over them. Being tall and physically fit. "
Oh don't worry, I'll be happy to remind you of that if I see you pulling too far ahead of me," he grinned at her, allowing her to think that she would be able to do that.
Cris blushed when Addi referenced those people whose affluent status allowed them to practice playing Quidditch at home. He wondered whether he should mention that he was one of those people. Nah!...that would sound like he was bragging. Trying to be as diplomatic as possible, he offered a possible solution for her.
"
Um...I don't know where you live, but if you'd like you could always come to my house and practice playing Quidditch in my backyard. I think it'll be large enough for you to beat the bludger around without breaking any windows," Cris informed Addi.
The fact that his backyard was really large was something else he decided not to mention.
