SPOILER!!: JAsmine and Cynthia[QUOTE=Expecto-Penguin;11621786
As Jasmine realized there was no menu and you just had to go up and get your food. She was about to get up when someone sat down next to her. She looked over and a woman named Cynthia who seemed to be around her age introduced herself. She smiled politely. "I am Jasmine or Jazz for short. Nice to meet you.." she held out for her to shake. She eyed her homemeade dinner and commented on it saying, "I didn't know you could bring your own food into this place.."
Then another person came to the table and introduced herself. Jasmine smiled politely. This is why she came to meet new people right? She wanted to be social for once. Jasmine nodded when she asked her first question. "Oh yes, there is seats open. I mean I am the newbie around here so no one knows me yet." she shrugged. She really should stop babbling. Oh so her name was Elizabeth? She got that down. Cynthia and Elizabeth.
And her department did sound like a mouthful. She chuckled and agreed. "It is a mouthful. I am from the Department of Environmental Regulation and Protection. Now that wasn't too much of a mouthful as yours.." she teased slightly. She also introduced her new friend as well. "Oh Elizabeth this is Cynthia.." she gestured towards her.

"It is nice to meet you, too," the IMC worker said. And the food topic? Drat, Cynthia had been trying carefully to avoid that. In fact, she'd almost not come to the banquet. "I'm very allergic to peanuts. I can't even get too near them. If I were to come into physical contact with the food, I could die of anaphylaxis." Not meaning to creep Jasmine out, but...yeah, she couldn't risk eating food. Cross-contamination was quite possible.
Cynthia immediately ceased the topic of death. Another person had arrived and began to speak.
"Hello. How are you?" Cynthia said, as she was pretty sure she'd seen Elizabeth around IMC.
Elizabeth smiled and took a seat down. "I bet it is quite interesting though." She giggled, "Thank you for letting me sit with you guys." Eliza glanced over at the other girl, Cynthia, and smiled. "I am good and you? You work with me right? I feel like I seen you around a lot but I never got the chance to actually talk to you it seems..." A frown appeared but a smile quickly returned.
