Zander nodded in agreement. There was something about being with Bart that helped Zander feel more confident. It was nice. And ooh Bart was in the paper!? "Yeah I was in it a little while ago myself," Zander beamed at the possible firstie. Technically he was only in it because Zahra had bit his arm, but pft details shmetails. His name had been in there either way. That's all that mattered. Mhmhm. That's right. "Only the real legends can get their names in the Aparecium," he told the kid, as if it were a fact.
Now back to the whole prank thing. Zander listened carefully as Bart explained his epic plan. Oh no. This definitely sounded like a whole lotta trouble. Zander was reluctant to reply because he definitely had to think this through. See, he didn't want to chicken out and be called a Hufflepuff again. But then again, doing it would probably get him into a whole ton of trouble. But if he did it, he could prove to Zahra that he was an actual Gryffindor. And he'd be making some new friends along the way too? It'd be an opportunity to be social? And get to know the staff, assuming they got caught WHICH they wouldn't. So was he in? Hmm... Aparecium? What in Merlin's underwear was that? I sounded really important, but Austin didn't really care. It was definitely something he wanted to be in. Especially if it made him known throughout the school. And besides, he was only a first year. He had six other years to make things right if he got in any
real trouble. Which he wouldn't.
"I'm in." He said with a smirk. This is what he'd been wanting to do all year, and the fact that some older students actually let him participate was more than enough to get Austin excited. He listened as Bart relayed his plan. It really was a good plan, and the fact that they were from two different houses did help. There was only one flaw that Austin could see.
"How are we supposed to get the potion into their shampoo or make up?" Surely that meant they would have to go into the girls dorms and they weren't allowed in there, as far as Austin knew.
So Zander was going right along with him, this was great. His off the top of his head, in the heat of the moment plan was working perfectly. Had he seen Zander in the Aparecium? He couldn’t remember, just Alexa, and the two dude professors came to mind. It really didn’t matter either way, the fact was they were making this firstie believe them, right? He eyed the boy,
“You have read the aparecium, haven’t you?” He watched the boy carefully. Though he figured he did, the bloody thing was everywhere. Even though it hadn’t seem to have an issue come out recently. Hogwarts wasn’t that boring was it?
Good they were both in. The thirteen year old eyed the front to see where the shopkeeper was at. The mess from the shelf forgotten he leaned in.
“That’s the easy part. We just sneak in.” How hard could it be?
“Though someone once told me there were charms to stop boys from doing that. If that’s the case we get a girl to help us and I know the perfect two. We might have to lie a little, but what they don’t know won’t hurt them.” He began to laugh. The hard part was figuring out exactly what to put in the bottles.
“So if we can sneak in, we should do it while everyone’s at class.” Yes that meant skipping a class boys. They weren’t scared were they?
“If the charms are on the entry, then my girlfriend and best friend could help us. We’ll just tell them that it was a surprise, maybe that it will make their hair shinier or something girly they will just love.” Looking towards the firstie,
“Brynn is a Ravenclaw, she’s smart though so it will take some convincing, but she tends to help me, so I think we could get her to do it.” Though once her hair fell out or she got a ton of zits he wasn’t sure how much she’d speak to him, but there was no harm in some pranks. Heh!
