That was actually really funny and the Gryffindor could see herself running into Dima a lot during the next three days. Lots to be done and none of it she wanted to do herself, you understand. Botros had just given the student population a gift. Far be it from them to NOT take it gratefully and exploit it for the beauty it was. Shame the kid wasn't a Gryffindor, easier access and all.

Maddie's wasn't that bad. Ascanius didn't have time for little people, he probably wouldn't want her around that often anyway. No real exploitation there unless he chose as much.

Was she meant to keep chanting? The rune was doing a pretty good job of keeping the flame strong...Lex liked to think she'd done a good job of invoking the rune just now. It would last for at least a couple feet outside. No telling how much colder outside would be once they actually got there. Her fire was likely to falter but even then she was sure her runes would do the job.
