Lex had gone on chanting with the rest of the class after handing out all the torches to the people in her immediate area and grinning at those nice enough to thank her but then she noticed how impassioned Mo got about his chanting and figured...he must have seen them too. Well that was one way to go about it and just like him, she'd continue chanting like their class hadn't been invaded...

until the screaming Ascanius happened.

What? A closer look and she realized he had fire shooting up his pants...fire? From torches they weren't meant to li--Dima. Of course. Give the kid that wasn't meant to have a torch a torch and tell him to blend in then he lights someone on fire. Smooth Ravenclaw, real smooth.

She was just gonna...keep chanting..."Kenaz kenaz kenaz... ku ka ki ke ko... kun kan kin ken kon... ok ek ik ak uk... kaunnnnnnnnn..." Until she heard that and admittedly, it brought a smirk to her face, remembering the events of that potions class. Funny how the tables turned. Lex leaned a bit closer to Kevin, not scolding him at all but rather, "It's a common misconception. Don't believe everything you hear." Because hahahaha no Claws were dumb. There were exceptions but she and Lottie had long ago figured out the truth; a functioning brain most did not have.

She watched the Professor carry the two along while she continued her chanting. Clearly not students to be trusted with stealth. If anything came up she'd be looking elsewhere.
