When Kace returned with his food, Dylan moved his things on the table so that he could have some room to set his food down. As he continued to eat, he looked up as Kace spoke. "I've been great! Really been enjoying the year and all. What about you?" he asked, taking a sip of butterbeer.
Kace was still chewing on his roast beef sandwich when he asked him a question. He smiled and took a swig of butterbeer yet again before answering.
"Oh well I have been really well. I am enjoying the year but it is weird without quidditch.." he said trailing off. It hurt his heart but he shook his head and moved onto the next topic. He wondered if he knew but he would go on with it,
"I was even looking around to buy my girlfriend a present for our anniversary soon..."
