They were definitely not going all the way to Greenhouse 8. Milton would have an attack for sure. All they had to decide was which plant to get, not which plant will be the death of Milton. Assuming that's how he'll meet his end. Quite frankly, it could be anything with him. OH! "I'd thought of cobra lilies, too! But they barely do a thing, we need something that'll make an impression." Which is why they were gonna spend some time with the plants. Decisions, decisions.
Following Lex, she laughed, "I have no idea. I hope so, though, that way someone can save him if he needs to be saved somehow." It's Milton, okay? Aaaaanything can happen.
It'd be brilliant if Paulie Foster was friends with Milton, then Lottie could persuade Paulie into letting Milton open his present right in the middle of a sequence. They'd be able to hear, at least. Poor Milton, never saw it coming.
No matter what the situation, Lex didn't want dementors. The Gryffindor had never bothered learning to cast a proper patronus and would only feel bad watching
Lottie saving the day while she chewed on chocolate. It hardly screamed Gryffindor.
Her bestfriend made a very legit point right there. The cobra lilies
were nice but they needed a bang--one that wouldn't get them arrested while being a bang nonetheless. Good thing they'd cleared their schedules, yeah? Picking the perfect plant wouldn't just happen the moment they walked in.
"True. I get the feeling he doesn't remember us as well as he should. The reminder needs to be strong enough." Like so strong he could practically SEE their smirks as he screamed in terror, like the good old days when they could actually watch him suffer.
"If?" Lex asked, turning to her with an amused grin.
"This is Milton. He always needs saving, maybe not as much as before, but I doubt he's gotten that much better." Luck had always kept him alive and he could still be lucky but that didn't mean he wouldn't find himself in fixes.
Now where would they start looking? Did the temperment of the plant matter? They all attacked in the end, right? That was their job as flesh-eaters.
