It was too predictable for her to do it, since she was the one who started their friendship in the first place. And then initiated their best friendship, too. It was totally his turn.
Fuller didn't pick favorites? Yeah right.
"You're just saying that 'cause you're a professor and you're supposed to say that. Culloden breaks that rule, though, and he's said I'm his favorite, so if he can admit it, you and 'Javy,'" she smirked, "can admit that there's a special place in your heart for me and Tobes, too." Soph offered Fuller another cheeky grin and raised her hands in defense, "And I won't tell anyone. Really." Hehehe.
She looked pensive for a moment, then added as an afterthought, "For the record, Tobes wouldn't terrorize those flower pots if he didn't love you guys." Uh huh. Totally an act of respect and admiration. If they were a couple. Fuller smiled. "You never know, it could happen." They were still young though. And they had a friendship that looked like it would last forever, so it really could happen. It happened to him, after all. BUT, "You're still young," he said, pointing a finger at her. "You don't need a boyfriend." She was like, twelve. Twelve year olds didn't need boyfriends.
Culloden picked favorites, did he? Hahah. "Oi, that's Professor Thompson to you, missy," he said in his SRS!PROF!VOICE. But it was TRUE, they did have soft spots in their grumpy professor hearts for those two kids. They let them eat their FOOD, after all. "And I'm not admitting anything." But she totally knew. He couldn't deny that either.
At her last comment, Fuller snorted out a laugh. "Well, that's certainly good to know. I don't think that makes up for flowers' hurt feelings, though." Naahhh, he was teasing. He'd just make Toby clean and fix them up if he ever did it again. ]
