Maddie took hold of the reins awkwardly as the winged horse began to walk and she glanced over at her partner, trying not to show how nervous she was. Did she know how to control a winged horse? NOPE. She also had no idea how to drive ANYTHING other than a broom so this MIGHT be a bit more difficult than she thought it'd be.

"So uhhh...how do I get this guy to turn?" Probably needed to tug on the reins or something, right? It didn't help that they were picking up speed now and Maddie's hair was blowing into her face, blocking her view. AJSJGJLS! PROBABLY needed to see to steer... PROBABLY.

The twelve year old paused for a moment to push her hair out of her face and then gently tugged on the reins, hoping to turn slightly to the left. WAS it working? HMMM?
