The twelve year old stepped up to the winged horse timidly and smiled a little. "Hello there." She then gently placed a hand on the side of its head and gave it a soft pat. It WAS beautiful and she was sort of distracted but she DID know the incantation. Hovering her wand under the ears and then drawing along towards the winged horse's mouth, she said, "Fixate!" PAUSE. ...Nothing.

SIGH.

"Wait, I got this." Take TWO.

This time she concentrated and began moving her wand along the side of the horse's face, hovering it so it wasn't touching. "Fixate!" THERE! A BRIDLE!

"Alright, let's DO this."
