Sophie was so focused on talking about GothSaints that she missed the fact Dima kept falling. "Oh, sorry," she said, when she saw him get up the second time. He was on the horse now, so all was good.
The horse was moving now, so Sophie walked alongside ready to defend Dima from whatever awaited them. They didn't have to wait long. A huge SNOWBALL came flying their way, followed a second later by another huge snowball. They were coming from everywhere! AHHHH! Sophie raised her wand and moved it in a vertical line. "Protego!" she said. A shield formed in front of them, and the snowballs began bouncing off the invisible barrier. "Cool!" he responded cheerfully, wiggling about on the Aethonan's back. Maybe he'd mention in an owl home about meeting GothSaints' other owner's daughter, but for now, Dima would focus on the task at hand. "Should we name him?" 'Cause everything needed a name, it did.
The snowball would have gone unnoticed if not for the mushy stuff crashing into an invisible barrier. He was rather tickled at the sight but tried not to get distracted, quite the difficulty for Dima. At least he managed to lead their winged horse a good distance before another obstacle got in their way. "Is that a... a snowbank?" Help, Sophie! Or they were going to go crashing into it, 'cause this kid right here was an AWFUL driver.
