Once her team crossed the finish line, Jasmine moved the carriage out of the way of traffic and pulled it to a stop. She immediately went to hug her "protectors" and said, "You guys were awesome!" They had really done a fantastic job and they could watch her back anytime.

The adrenalin that had been flowing during the race had started to subside. The cold that she had barely been aware of was now hitting Jasmine hard. "It's freezing out here.
