Did she know that already?
He watched her decimate the dummy, again, and then put it back together. Clever girl. She probably could handle some harder spells. "I'll teach it to you later, ok? It's not hard, although it takes a lot of effort to keep up spell at first. I'm getting better at casting it and then letting them manage themselves." But it was hard. They'd have to work at it.
"Piertotum Locomotor," Mo cast on his dummy, and watched it lumber to its feet and progress on him. Not as good as the one who came after Sophie, since Mo had to switch from controlling the dummy to casting against it. He swished his wand back and forth as he said, "Reducto." The blue light burst from his wand and clipped the top of the dummy's head. He cast again. "Reducto." This time, the spell hit the dummy square in the torso, blowing it backwards and disintegrating it until it was little more than a pile of limbs. Sophie snorted at the mental imagery of the seventh year boys' antics and wished she'd been there to see them. "Bet they thought that was way cool." Kyroh and Dima seemed like the type to be super fascinated rather than spooked by something like that. "Yeah, I haven't talked with 'em or anything, but Culloden took a liking to them... and so did you... and Tobes, so they're all right in my book. Guess I'm missing out on something." It just wasn't high on her hobby list to go making friends with first year boys without a good reason.
Not hard for him, maybe, but transfiguration spells were her weakest area - didn't stop her from wanting to learn, of course, since it was super cool, but she gave him a questioning sort of look anyway. "Okay." She watched him successfully do what she had done - though he missed on the first try, too - except he had blasted his dummy into many more bits than she had. Like, a lot more. Whoa. "That..." she stared first at the strewn limbs, then at Mo, "...was totally wicked. You're really good at this." Though she shouldn't have been as surprised or impressed as she was, certainly. Of course Mo was a pro. She'd already established that.
She checked her watch, glad that they'd killed so much time so far, and pointed her wand at her repaired dummy. Swish and flick. "Wingardium Leviosa." Then she promptly levitated her dummy right at Mo, fully intending to have it tackle him if he wasn't fast enough. HEHE.
