Mo stood back and watched her cast, his arms crossed and expression somber.
Guh. This little bird was seriously under his skin. Mo tried not to swell with pride and enthusiasm when she got the head blasted off on the first TRY. "Reparo," Mo put both dummies back together again as he considered her suggestion. Making the dummies move WOULD be a challenge, and they sort of needed something to fill out this session.
"I did that with Kyroh's pajamas. Did you hear?" Mo pointed his wand at the dummies. "Piertotum Locomotor." Sophie's dummy stretched and stood up before lumbering in her direction. BEAM. Sophie ate up all of Mo's words of encouragement normally, but this was even better - the RAVENCLAW in her. Ha! She wished Mo would tell that to her parents, who were still a little baffled that she was in Ravenclaw when there was so much Gryffindor in her. But MO saw her for who she really was - an eagle at heart, absolutely, and there was no house in the world she'd rather be in.
She thought her blast had been only a mild success since there weren't a million pieces of the dummy all over, but upon seeing Mo's attempts to not look proud of her, her expression turned smug. Apparently he was impressed, wasn't he? He didn't have to hide it. She knew.
"You did what?" For real? "When? And why?" She was laughing, then, and even moreso when he charmed the newly-repared dummy to come to life. And move toward her. "You're gonna have to teach me this one." She grinned, backing away quickly and flicking her wand at it again, "Reducto!" Blue light shot from the tip of her wand and grazed the dummy's shoulder, much to her dismay, but she tried again without hesitation with more force behind her words, "Reducto!" BOOOOOM. Pieces of the dummy flew off in all directions, and Soph turned to smile proudly at Mo after lazily reparing her own dummy. "Your turn."
