A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Completely ignoring his talk about being nice to others would help people liking him and refusing the card that he was giving because he already had a fe Dumbledore cards, Kevin was now watching a scene of the older Gryffindor chasing after the poltergeist in order to get his card back.
Why was he being so nice to him?! It freaked him out. He was so used to being pushed around or ignored...why was he doing this? Was it possible he was sort of making a friend right now? This freaked him out even more cause he never had any friends.
Oh right...he had forgotten that peeves was technically a ghost and spells would just go right through him but he didn't pocketed his wand back in its wrist holster. He did lower it though just when Peeves started to fly around and trash the place. Kevin wouldn't have minded it cause again....he did not sleep here but when Peeves started to throw pillows at them things became different.
When the poltergeist started making fun of him, Kevin actually looked different. He didn't look like he owned the place and he wasn't saying any snarky comments back. Instead, his gaze was lowered and he was gripping the phoenix wand so tightly as his arm trembled with the force. It had been a long time since someone had made fun of him like that but when he realised he was nearly snapping his wand in two, the Gryffindor got back to earth when the other called for him.
He turned his attention to him when the guy took cover under a bed. "I'm not hiding! I'm a Gryffindor! I stand my ground---" -WHACK-! He was hit in the back of his head by one of the pillows that Peeves was throwing at them. He stumbled forward and when another pillow hit his back, Kevin decided to take cover as well. "Have any plans?"
