More laughter. Always with the laughter. At least this time Tag didn't feel embarrassed getting laughed at. There were varying degrees of Lottie's laughter. "I wasn't talking about me." Wink again. But, "I hear the sun is pretty hot." Lottie probably had a sciency answer to counter that. Ok. If he couldn't mention her blush, he could totally, and had the right, to say something like that. It was only fair. He also thought he was a priority, or the sun, rather so he just smirked at that, no words being said here.
Gosh. NOW LOTTIE was discriminating against Pluto. The universe was a horrible place. "Poor Pluto. He was only trying to fit in, wanted to be a planet just like everyone else. But I guess everyone thought it was too goofy." Pun intended. If Lottie knew what Tag was trying to get at. "Oh, usually when we stargaze we look for, and talk about something in particular." Nod nod. "Stargaze." The fact that Lottie may not have anything planned, besides going back in time, made Tag suspicious. Like he had to do something or find something right on the spot.
Maybe. Who knows. Hopefully not. She'll just distract him if he brought it up again, or bring up his own plans, for a change. "Yes, I will enjoy my 'you not bothering me' time while I can." Even if he wasn't bothering her, not at all. It was all really amusing. The wink was unnecessary, by the way. But he got one, too, as a reply.
ALWAYS with the laughter, yes. RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT, no, Tag Kildare, you were not talking about yourself, you were clearly talking about the real sun. The real deal, yeah-huh. She narrowed her eyes slightly as he said something else, "There are bigger and hotter stars out there. Our sun is quite insignificant if one takes into account the entire universe, which is infinite." Because they were actually discussing the sun, the real deal, yes? YES. Apparently, so.
SHE KNEW IT! OH DEAR MERLIN! And she couldn't be surprised over this, either, because it was so obvious! After everything she's taught him! Lottie was sort of glad Airey was nowhere to be seen right now. "You're one of them!" she said, smiling but shaking her head all the same, "I don't believe it." Actually, she could. Also, no, we do not acknowledge the pun, "Poor Pluto...," she shook her head in disbelief, or pretended to, "...it's a plutoid, not a planet, and definitely not 'poor'." As far as feelings were concerned... she couldn't care less, it just didn't belong with the planets, simple as that. As far as stargazing goes..., "I just wanted to stargaze today, really," she shrugged. Just look at October while they had the chance to.
And spot the sneaky Andromeda galaxy as well. |
