"Flour coming up", Jasmine said. Picking up the dry measuring cup, Jasmine measured 4 cups of flour, one cup at a time and poured them into a second bowl. Then she added the final 1/2 cup to the bowl. Having measured out all of the flour, Jasmine was now ready to add flour to the mixture.

Taking the 1/2 cup measuring cup, Jasmine filled it with flour. She began to slowly pour the flour into the mixture that Cris was stirring. "OK Cris, keep stirring. When it looks pretty well blended, I'll add the next 1/2 cup of flour."

As Cris continued to stir, Jasmine continued to add flour 1/2 cup at a time. Glancing at her notes, she told Cris, "It says to keep adding flour until the dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl and no longer sticks to your fingers." "Keep stirring for now and we'll keep an eye on the dough." Things were looking good so far and Jasmine hoped that they would be able to pull this off.
