10. Arithmancy

Oh Merlin. Emma did a facepalm. Several facepalms. Glancing about the room, she looked for Selena to help her out, but her best friend was on Prefect duties. Sighing, she flipped open the pages of the textbook and began reading.

She heard footsteps. POKE. POKE. POKE. “Is she alive?”
“Go away.” She covered her head with her arms. The poking continued. She sighed and then turned on her side and found Selena sitting beside her.
“I guess Arthimancy won the battle today,” smirked Selena.
“Sel, what time is it?”
“Nap time.”
The two girls used their Arithmancy books as pillows.
