He told me many times that he longs to go outdoors and play instead of being cooped up inside. I read that the Vaxifloo might be able to protect him from catching any of the flu strains. Was I wrong, Professor?" Cris was now starting to get worried as he waited anxiously for the Professor to reply. Cosgrach looked at Cris in confusion. The goods of elves were long forgotten. What he didn't understand was... "But then he has to take every kind of health potions, not just vaxifloo, because flu isn't the only illness?" Cris... knew that, right? "I mean, fine, I don't mind if you brew vaxifloo, but to me it sounds like a waste of resources and energy, whereas your friend needs an immune potion or something." He didn't know if such a one existed. But that was irrelevant. Kind of. Text Cut: Seren Quote:

The girl, delightful as she was, was not entitled to special treatment for the sake of her name and father's position. "But sure, fine." It was just a suggestion after all.
At this news her eyebrows arched. Leo had complained? "Well he certainly didn't share that information with me," she replied casually, again, there wasn't much she could do if people didn't tell her these things. But with regard to what Kevin had said the previous year... pfft. "And you believe him?" she questioned. "I told my Professors the same thing when I was a student, and I guarantee that my mother most certainly did care about holding me accountable for my wrong doing." The lesson to be learned there was not to believe things purely because they sounded fair enough. "At any rate, notify the parents, at least that way you'll have a record of having tried should they want to hold you accountable for their sons progress... and if it's playing nice with others that you're having trouble with, perhaps isolate him in your class." Problem solved, no? "Or invest in unbreakable bottles..." that was another idea. This Slytherin knew better. He wasn't risking anything for the sake of equality or whatever. He didn't say anything else, but he was glad Seren didn't insist.
...was she... questioning Cosgrach's statement? Didn't believe he was telling the truth? Or that he exaggerated it?
Well, then. "Thank you for your opinion, Seren," he said as politely as ever, nothing in his demeanour would suggest he was slightly annoyed. "I will write to his parents and will see what else I can do during class." He took a sip from his tea. "You said you wanted to speak to me about Kevin, as well?" |
