He simply nodded and poured the boy a glass of cold water and handed it to him before returning to lean against his desk. "No problem."
He continued to sip his coffee as the Slytherin began to explain why he was in his office and what he was looking for. Charms to help someone remember the past or to alter their memories? His brow furrowed a little as he wondered why someone so young would be asking about this. But he answered anyway. "As far as altering memories, there is the False Memory Charm, which allows the spell caster to give the subject a false memory, as the name suggests." That could lead to very messy situations, though. "As for improving memory, I believe the most efficient way would actually be a Memory Potion. When you're looking for personal improvements such as memory, vision, hair growing, et cetera, those would most often be found in the subject of potions." It was very difficult to create a charm to improve something that was in the brain, in the human system. Charms theory, man. It was intense stuff.
Fuller's brow furrowed again as he thought of this all. "May I ask what brought this on? Altering memories is a very dangerous thing to do, and often ends poorly. I would hope to think this is purely... curiosity." The kid was too young to be doing that kind of stuff. |
