Considering one of the portraits inhabitants was threatening to take this to the Headmistress if harm was done to it. Jon was doing no harm at all, how dramatic this portrait was. "Have you ever tried to silence them?" Again, not entirely permanent, since all spells wear off, but it was a bit more permanent than tilting their frame.

"Jon, is it?" His name. It is Jon, right? She tilted her head to one side awaiting confirmation.
