He heard Professor Fuller ask him to come in and so Simon twisted the doorknob, pushed the door, and entered the room. "Hello Professor. How are you?" he asked with a shy smile. He gripped his backpack strap a little tighter. Okay, I can do this. "Sorry to disturb you but I have a couple of questions that I'd like to ask you. If now isn't a good time, I can come back later," offered Simon with a shy smile ~~as he began to slowly retreat to the door.~~
