Talking to the ghosts and portraits? Really? Kyroh's eyes lit up. "I can talk to them and I won't be bugging them!?" Yeah!? He didn't know that! He had always thought the people in the portraits were busy doing their own thing.
Hmmmmmm. "I think i'll still keep my distance from any flesh eating plants." And he had JUST started thinking that they were pretty alright. But he didn't want to get eaten, even if Bentley did feed the plants.
The Jarvey was making noises again. And swearing. Kyroh hesitated and almost brought his hands up to his ears so he could block out the bad curse words. He wasn't suppose to hear those. Looking up at Miss Dora, Kyroh almost scooted away because she was giving him strange looks. "....Do you want a hug?" was that what was wrong?
She.....was going to try spells on him? Kyroh blinked. "You're not going to set me on fire right?"
"Your way would have no one reading the book." She pointed out. He could'n't even read it himself. Order was needed in so many things, and books was one of them. She nodded her head. He needed to read that book, it was full of useful information.
Dora shook her head, brushing aside a few stray hairs from her face.
"No, most of them enjoy a good conversation and if they don't just keep bugging them until you get what information you need." That's what she had done when she had been his age.
"That's the smart thing to do." Until the plant came looking for him, but she didn't say that. Again, not interested in scaring any first years today. Not intentionally at least.
Did she.... No. No she did not want a hug.
"I'm fine." No need for hugs. She didn't bother fixing her face. Nor did she bother with silencing Biter, though he managed that on his own by climbing up on her shoulders, hiding beneath her long hair.
"No, I won't set you on fire." She paused.
"Or do anything that's not irreversible."
