"Well, whether you're going to be one or not, I think just the thought of it tells me you're considering astronomy. No matter what aspect it may be in. An, go talk to him, as soon as possible." After Hogwarts stuff was tricky to figure out. Tag thought he had it all done but he was still unsure of what to do next.
Nope, Tag didn't know.
Tag listened to how Lottie explained what they were going to be doing today, then he nodded. "I think that's what I meant. I probably just worded it weirdly or made it sound more complicated than it really was." He said. The blonde had a tendency to do that every now and then. Libra, the zodiac, yep, that's what Tag had been referring to. "How come? Is it in the Southern hemisphere, then?" Was that it? Or was that only with that really bright star Lottie had mentioned last summer?
Mid october. Of course Tag remembered mid october, but he just nodded at his girlfriend's words and made a mental note to try and really pay attention and remember things.
And then stuff was happening inside the planetarium. Stars started to appear, yep. Ok, now Lottie's question. Constellations, that's what she was asking about, right? All right. Tag glanced all over the ceiling, trying to take a good look at the 'sky'. "Ummm, there? Is that draco?" He said pointing at the stars that hopefully made up the constellation. It had to be. He'd seen that twice already. Nothing else seemed remotely familiar to him.
No teacher, no professor. She was being Lottie today. But this didn't mean she wouldn't become distracted by any comment on her oh-so-obvious blushing. So, thank you for not commenting on it. A smile went his way. "It is Astronomy. I'm just not sure which path to take." Lotus was particularly fond of Astrophysics, though, that's why she'd told Tag there was a chance of it being the chosen one. We'll see, though. "I will, I will." Maybe after the holidays.
Her smiled only widened, and she nodded once. Got it. That's what he'd meant, she was clarifying just in case. "It's okay." OH MERLIN. What? She almost bounced at those words. Look at him speaking with proper terms and all. Granted, this happened all the time, but still. Beaming. "It's visible there, yes. But it's visible for us at certain times, between January and April." If he wanted a more detailed explanation she could bring out star charts from those months or put in the date into the projector, though she doubted he wanted to.
That constellation wasn't her favorite as important as others, for her.
Oh, thank God. Her time was not wasted. She nodded at her boyfriend, "Close enough, that one last star doesn't belong to Draco," but Tag had successfully identified most of it! And that was amazing. Brilliant, really. "Can you spot a planet?" Should be easy, really, there were three of them up there. Jupiter was the brightest of them all. |
