WHY the hugging? Maddie's brown eyes widened and she stiffened on the spot while not ONE but TWO boys wrapped their arms around her. It wasn't that she thought they had COOTIES or anything because THAT was silly but she just DIDN'T do HUGS. NOPE. "Is this going to be a regular thing with you two?" The hugging thing, that is. She kept her hands at her sides and waited for it to be over, looking relieved when it was.
"Looks like Dima thought of almost everything!" Maddie smiled a little and accepted the bowtie from him, in a much better mood now that hugging was over. Taking a seat, the twelve year old got comfy before putting the thing on. Bowties DID add a certain something to the meeting and the brunette liked the one Dima had picked out VERY much. She turned to him and modeled it proudly before reaching for a donut. "AND I guess we ALL love chocolate." Just another thing they had in common. Perhaps they could factor CHOCOLATE into their name!
"So I brought a notebook." The first year patted her backpack with her donut-free hand and smiled. "I figured I could take the minutes. I don't know EXACTLY what that means but I figure it has to do with taking notes and I brought a WATCH just in case I'm meant to write the time down TOO." See? She came prepared!
"What do we do FIRST, Freckles?" Beside eating.
