"Zeus, huh? That's an awesome name." he said with a smile. That was actually an extremely adorable name for a kneazle. Now Dylan wanted to see him even more! He then tilted his head to the side slightly when she mentioned Zeus being a bit ferocious. "Yeah? Why's that?" he asked curiously. A ferocious kneazle named Zeus. Heheh.
Dylan nodded. "Oh, I understand." he said. Then, she mentioned the squid, making his heart skip a beat. Biting his lip, he quickly racked his brain for something to say. Yes, he had seen the squid but never got close... he was very VERY VERY frightened of the thing. It was his biggest fear. But he'd never dare telling anyone. He wanted to keep his tough guy image and stuff, y'know. "I've seen him. Never got the chance to quite meet him. He always goes away when I see him, I guess." he simply said with a shrug, trying to act cool. When really he was shaking on the inside at the thought of the thing... Maddie considered this information for a moment or two before nodding her head. "Okay, I'll keep that in mind." And if he WAS willing to take lessons from her, she might as well be willing to seek him out.
"'Course it is." DUH, that's why she NAMED him that. "Well, because it's his nature." He was BORN to be WILD. Plus he wanted to be the KING of all things and if anything got in his way, he was NOT a happy kneazle. Shrug.
He'd SEEN the squid. Maddie's eyes widened and she turned to face him, disrupting Ginger's comfort in the process but she simply laid a hand lightly on the kitten's head and kept her focus on her owner. "Was he HUGE? Did he try and EAT anyone? Did he SAY anything to the people by the lake?" Details, kid. She wanted details!
