Sophie stood up and brushed off her knees. If this wasn't for class credit, she'd in no way be doing this. She just wasn't one to help somebody for free. Especially somebody that needed a whole porch built for himself. She smirked at Cris doing the push ups. She'd get involved, but really, she was just ready to get this built and done with.

Hearing her name, Sophie turned and headed over to where the newly laid planks needed nailing together. She fished a few nails out her pocket and got back down on her knees. She positioned the first nail in place then began hammering away. She did the same thing with another pair of planks before looking up to the group as a whole.

"How much more beam laying do we have to do?" she asked. They should be about done with that part. "Are we about ready to start on the actual porch?" Or had somebody started on that when she was down on her knees hammering away?
