Delilah rolled her eyes, wondering if the boy knew how ridiculous he sounded. No, wait. He probably didn't. Why would she want to trip him in the first place? Meh. The girl was too exhausted and sleepy to even bother replying to that so she just remained quiet, her blue eyes focused on her shoes. This sucked. The girl had just wanted alone time, was that too much to ask for? And it didn't look like he was going to leave anytime soon.

Wandering around? In an empty corridor? Yeah, okay. The blonde narrowed her eyes slightly at him. "I just wanted some quiet, that's all. I usually hang out by the lake to relax but the grounds were way too crowded today.."

............ Why was she explaining herself to him again? Delilah abruptly stopped talking, her cheeks turning faintly pink in embarrassment.
