Man.... Kevin had kind of screwed up or whatever, BUT WHO HADNT BEFORE? In fact, Zahra was counting herself lucky to not be in his exact shoes. She was, after all, the student that stuffed a gnome in her shirt recently.
Then some OTHER Claw was on Kevin's case? Zahra could put up with Lex (as much as she hated it) riding him as Prefect, BUT NOT THESE KNOW IT ALL CLAWS!
So Zahra made an announcement:
"Next 'Claw that says something to Kevin is getting a swirlie after class!!!!" AND THAT WAS A PROMISE!
Ugh Claws were the worst. Save for like...Nigel... but even he was pretty grumpy at times.
MEANWHILE, Zahra returned to her cauldron, threw in some unicorn whatever stuff, and MOSTLY gave the Baby Claws DARING LOOKS. SAY SOMETHING. DO IT. SHE HAD A TOILET WITH THEIR NAMES ON IT.

Oh? He turned to Elodie in complete confusion. He hadn't been expecting that. And then, Sophie - and he actually felt kind of bad for almost losing his control in front of them. See how they defended him against someone who didn't even deserve their attention. Then Kyroh asked that WONDERFUL question, which actually made Cosgrach laugh - half in hysteria and half in genuine amusement. All of these were happening so fast, almost at the same time, that he didn't have the time to decide how to react. By the time Alexa poked Kevin with her wand, though, he'd again gained control of himself and was working his Slytherin mind for a much better punishment than fury.

...WHO was THAT girl?! WHERE did she even come from? He EYED her, and his face darkened. His fury for Kevin and for this girl were quite different. With Kevin, it was premature fury, the kind that came and went. With this girl? She did it on purpose. Kevin WAS an idiot, but this girl was...
"Five points off Gryffindor." And it wasn't even from Kevin! His eyes were on that girl. WHAT was a 'swirlie', anyway? Some new lingo? Eh, in any case, it wasn't a pleasant thing, obviously.
"Next person that makes any rude comment is earning a pleasant detention with me after class." That was a promise too! Okay, girl, Kevin, anyone else?
Sending one last death glare to the girl, he turned his gaze to Kevin. His fury for him was almost forgotten.
"You can go have dinner after class and come back." He was nice enough to let him eat first, see?
"And you don't have to come any evening except tonight." He smiiiirked dirtily, then. "I was just tryin' ya." See how much of a fool he was. The result? He was silly enough to slam his hand and shout back. And iffff he even GROANED now...
For detention the bells tolled.
So this is a worrrrrse punishment than every evening with Cosgrach Culloden for Kevin Hirase. Can he keep his mouth shut now, or will he risk it all? Be sure to tune in to the next -
He took a deep breath, remembered some happy moments in his life and calmed doooown. He also avoided looking at that girl and Kevin not to get angry again.
"Everyone," he said, not looking at those two 'dorks, "If your potion's turned bright white, add glumbumble parts and stir five times clockwise, please."

APPARENTLY. Because then Zahra started YELLING at him. And being MEAN to him like always. Kyroh's eyes narrowed and his face started to feel hot.He had never done anything to her! He hadn't! Okay maybe he pushed her into the fountain but that was AFTER was being mean. Kyroh stood up and began shaking his small FIST at Zahra. He would have thrown something too but the only stuff he had around him were potion ingredients. "I am NOT a baby! The first year yelled loudly. He just WASN'T okay? And he was ANGRY until...
She said that no one liked first years.....
Kyroh sunk back in his chair.
Was that true? He didn't even pay attention to the threat because....no one liked him?
As Toby leaned over to talk to him, Kyroh gazed over, eyes wide and slightly glistening. Zahra was MEAN and he was NOT a baby and he was NOT crying......yet. "Okay Toby." He mumbled eyes turning back to his potion, not even noticing the smile or the wink.
See mean Zahra. Toby liked him!
Sniffle.
Culloden was laughing and everything but Kyroh didn't notice. His eyes were focused on the potion. Potion. Not mean people. At first he thought it had turned white because of the tears in his eyes but nope. It was suppose to be that way. Okay good. Wipping his eyes with his sleeve, Kyroh cleaned off his stick and poured the glumbumble parts in. After that he stirred five times, full circles and everything clockwise.
Was class done yet? Sophie didn't know a whole lot about Kyroh yet besides that Tobes and Culloden had both taken a liking to him, but that was enough in her book to make her want to look out for him, so when Zahra threatened him - and apparently all Ravenclaws - with "swirlies," Sophie SCOFFED. She'd like to see her TRY, but just as she opened her mouth to dare her, Culloden took five points from the older girl.
Ha.
That was enough to shut Zahra up and make her cry, and even though Kevin was still riled up, Sophie minded her own business and hoped the Gryffindors now knew better than to mess with Ravenclaws or Culloden in the future.
But all was not well with Kyroh, she saw, and as Culloden moved on to talk to a few students, Soph slipped from her chair, giving Cat a nod as she left her to stop by Kyroh and mutter from behind him, "You're not a baby - you're cool in my book, Scabior." Soph gave him an encouraging sort of pat on the shoulder, ruffled Toby's hair, then sauntered back off to her own work station, smiling back at the both of them.
She wasn't going to let anyone bully her baby Ravenclaws.
As the professor gave further instructions, Sophie ignored the rest of the class behind her and followed his directions, first scourgifying her wooden stirring stick that was resting on a tissue, then dumping the glumbumble parts into the bright white concoction in her cauldron and stirring it five times clockwise with her stirrer. And then she thought about the Gryffindor hooligans behind her again and wondered what kind of detention Culloden could come up with for them. Something really gross and brutal, she bet - the guy worked with bizarre potions ingredients for a living, after all. She kind of hoped they'd keep antagonizing him so she could hear stories about their detentions later. Heheheh.
