She didn't know the Ancient Runes Professor that well, but what she had seen, he seemed like a jolly older man and that's what they needed jolly.
Glancing at the seating area she figured it could use a bit of color and possibly some fun. Maybe she'd recommend a few of her bouncy seats to him, but another day. They were there on a mission. It was getting closer to the December date and they had to finalize their plans. Cassie pulled out her check list, "Have you talked to the elves yet, because I haven't. I think we need some variety and I still need to talk to them about possibly making a few more vegetarian meals." She was getting tired of the same old things. Not that she should be complaining since the blonde didn't know how to cook. "The decorations seem to be set, music set, now all we need is for Botros to say yes." She was sure he would and with that she confidently knocked on the door. Quote:

And she was far too excited to worry about it. "Oh of course he will!" she beamed as they made their way to the Runes professor's seating area. They always had a way of convincing people. "I have a little bribe too if he's a little unsure." She patted her tote bag and gave a knowing smile. Well, it was more of a gift.. and she would give it to him either way.
The brunette leaned over and peered over Cassie's shoulder, brown eyes scanning her list. It seemed like everything was in order.. well, most everything. But hopefully they'd accomplish the rest today. "No, I haven't.. but that's a good idea. I wonder if they could do our cookies.." Because she certainly wasn't making them. Otherwise they'd be coming the from the store. And did they know how to make something vegetarian that didn't taste like cardboard? She knew they tried, bless their little hearts, but vegetarian just wasn't Nessa's thing. It would be nice for Cassie though if there was something tasty now and again.
Nessa took a seat on the comfy looking couch as Cassie went to knock. Eeep, she was so excited! Botros just had to say yes! It was the perfect finishing touch. Botros had his reading glasses on his nose bridge as always, trying to decipher one of the ancient scrolls that was sent to him from the academy. It was long enough to extend from his desk inside to the office's door on the other side. His Crup was sleeping in the corner, snoring. Not even the knock on the door woke him up. Weird.
"Come in!" The old professor called out, without lifting his eyes from the parchment scroll. Must be another advice seeker. |
