At the boy’s following comment about smoke coming from his head, Lou rolled his eyes and dismissed it. People’s heads don’t release smoke if there’s a burning sensation, unless they were talking about literally burning with fire. But this wasn’t the time to get into technicalities; Lou was more concerned with other matters.

And then Jun was pointing his wand at the Gryffindor’s hair. Louis didn’t feel anything, but when he turned to see his reflection in the mirror - oh yeah. There was definitely a huge change there. Blink. Blink. “…I don’t even look like myself!” He looked… he looked… well, he wasn’t sure who or what he looked like, but he certainly didn’t look like himself anymore. The colour didn’t seem as natural on him as it did on Jun, he looked like… those rebellious punk boys that do all sorts of weird crazy things with their hair. Maybe he should get a few tattoos and piercings to match too. Snort. Or maybe not.

“Wow…” Louis ran a hand through his platinum-blond hair, still staring at his reflection with disbelief. “How long does it last?” he asked, turning back to his friend.
