Though he might have been able to relate to his sisters. “I loved it. My older brother was very protective, but I also go the advantage of knowing things that were going to happen as I got older, because of him. Plus his friends always were so nice to me.” Especially as she got older which just the thought caused a bit more giggling. “Then I got to show my younger brother and sister new things. So it was great.”
Oh goodie the worms weren’t going to be harmed. She snapped happily, “That’s fabtabulous.” This was going to be sooo fun. She looked out at the water as he was rowing and gently put her finger tips in. “Ooooh it’s a bit cold.” She smiled and looked back up at him, “I did like Charms in school. It’s a very useful and amazing class, but most of the classes were amazing.” She wasn’t one that would have said it wasn’t even if it was. “Were you a charms boy in school?”
She was going to be able to try! Eeeep! She took them from him and looked carefully at the water. Hmm she could do this. Placing them in the water she moved her arms circular a bit much and they were much heavier then she thought. One of the oars coming up a bit too high bumping into Leo. Leo nodded. "Yes, good things can come in small packages." Like people and candy and other glittery things women tended to like very much in the jewellery category. Cassie pitied him for being the only boy with sisters? "I liked being the only boy in the family most of the time." Leo protested slightly. He just hadn't liked his sister’s dress up games or when they had decided to use him to practice applying makeup too. He had looked ridiculous. "It's nice that you were so tight with your brother and his friends when you grew up. Not many have that. I've gotten a closer relationship with my sisters now that we are adults. We weren’t very close when we grew up." Leo loved that they were so tight now and could talk about most things naturally. "My sister Rose usually comes to me when she runs into trouble. She is the youngest."
Cassie’s snappy happy comment made Leo almost fall over in fright. He hadn't seen it coming since he had his eyes on the worms and the hooks. Shrugging he shared with a smile. "I liked Charms and I showed apt for the subject but I wasn't a boy who charmed everything he past just for a bit of fun. I know some of my house mates liked to charm the suits of armour to dance though."
Thinking that Cassie had the rowing under control Leo didn’t see the oar coming before it bumped into his side. "Ouch...." He blurted out as he rubbed his side. "Watch how your rowing." Looking around them he said. "I think we've come out far enough. So you can stop rowing." Taking one of the fishing poles he offered it to Cassie. "Here, take it. It’s yours. Now let’s fish!"
