Cris nodded to Jasmine motioning her to start the music. He waited to absorb the beat before starting off with a couple of hip hop moves. Shoulders moving, body sliding this way and that, Cris began moving in time with the beat of the music. Melding his taekwondo moves with his dance moves, Cris allowed the music to carry him along. Ending with a couple of taekwondo punches and a roundhouse kicks, Cris ended his martial arts dance.
Breathing heavily, he turned to look at Jasmine. "So how was that?"
Getting her cue, Jasmine started the music. When Cris started to dance, Jasmine watched in amazement. She had seen some dancers mix hip hop and martial arts, but not like this. His moves were powerful and graceful all at the same time. As she watched, she couldn't help moving to the beat along with him. And his kicks were good, just like he had teased during their duel.
Just as Jasmine thought, Cris was far too modest. He had some serious skills. When he finished his dance, Jasmine clapped and said,
"Bravo".
"That was amazing. I loved it. You've been holding out on me. I don't know if I can teach you anything, but you can sure teach me a few things." Was there anything this guy couldn't do well?
