Those happen plenty already, y'know, when we aren't around too many people," Maybe hugs don't really happen, but only because Jun always feels like Lex might not like them. Boy was just conflicted sometimes. At least everything else they did together was perfectly fine.
Jun shook his head. It was too early for him to be doing homework. And he didn't have the energy in him to do so either. Wigging his left fingers, Jun switched to his right hand and continued scribbling. Oh, the perks of being ambidextrous. "I'm writing to my brother. Have to thank him for the gifts he left in my trunk. Remember those?" Jun chuckled, clearly remembering how bad he wanted to laugh when he found it. Now he kept in mind to always keep his trunk locked at home just in case. At least Kai left candy in there too. Should've left more biscuit sticks too. "And I'm telling him to send more biscuit sticks soon too. More flavors of them," Much needed at the moment. "I guess so. You probably won't see me in those two weeks. Unless you manage to somehow poke me awake in the dorm," She was a prefect, so she had connections.
For a conversation about not liking words or using them much this one seemed to require a lot of explanation; she'd noticed. How would she even describe dull vocabulary?
"I guess you could say that. Things I'm not particularly interested in listening to or discussing." If they held no apeal for her, they could hardly be described as anything but dull. Of course he was right about the next part, minus the hugs really. Seriously. In all her years she'd never met a bunch of people more against hugs than the Hogwartians. Though the Puffers weren't bad, they were willing.
"Mhm and with those happening, words and names can shove off." They were of no use to her really.
Not homework then? So she wasn't the only one not being productive? Good! She could live with this. Lex dropped the History of Magic book to the floor and summoned one that looked more promising in its place. Might as well since she figured she'd be staying here for a little longer. Just as she was about to pry the book open (one on Dark Creatures as it turned out) she heard him mention the gift in the trunk. HA. That was an...erm....interesting gift it was but the candy had made it better.
"Remember to make it sound convincing." She perked up at the mention of the biscuit sticks. He'd said he could have his brother send her some, yeah?
"You'll still get more chocolate ones, even though you're getting new flavours, right?--And Raspberry and Strawberry, you should mention those too." You know, in case he was taking suggestions from the girlfriend. Ahem.
There was a small glance down at the History book now on the ground, just to be sure it hadn't landed badly. You could get in serious trouble for mishandling books apparently.
