Lex watched the Professor look at everything but her. At first she thought he was giving way to his silent anger again but then she realized he was just...staring. She'd wait a little longer before deciding whether it was a good thing or not. For the moment she simply sat in her chair and watched him. They were going with honesty, right? Last she checked that seemed the order of the day so the Gryffindor sat straighter in her own chair, back pressed to the cushioned back of the chair.

"I don't gossip Professor. I believe that anything I've got to say should be said to the person it's about. I find when you gossip people never learn that they annoy or amuse you and it's not very fair to them." If someone was an idiot she needed them to KNOW. How else would they mend their ways? Hmmmmm? "And I do everyone the courtesy of not trying to humiliate them because I've come to learn that not everyone's got a backbone like my own."

That being said......"The name.......wasn't really for either purpose. Thinking about it, it popped into my head sometime last term after you'd done something I didn't particularly agree with...." Annoyed the hell out of her really. "But it just sorta...stuck after."
