Leaning back in his seat a bit, and frowning just a little as Miss Valentine's toss was twarted by Miss Abbot's, he simply nodded his head in reply. "Not a clue where one would get that around here. Surely somewhere in Hogsmeade has them," he pondered out loud as he thoughtfully tapped his chin with his index finger.
And he was confused for a moment. A brief moment. But still confused and thought for a moment that the Miss Valentine down playing in the match had somehow transported herself to the stands. Still working on that whole...telling them apart.
"Good day, Miss Valentine," he waved as his attention turned back to the match.
Part science? ONLY part. He was amused. "I always found that some simple calculations in my head in regards to my stone increased the probability of success rather significantly. So technically, using one's brain is a legitimate cheer," he interjected the two's conversation and would have gone on had it not been for the smelly yellow gob being sprayed in their direction.

He should have remembered to administer his stain repelling enchantments. UGH!

The game wasn't going in their favour, despite the efforts of Candice, Angel and Bay. In fact, considering how skilled Leah seemed at the game, it was no wonder the Badgers were well and truly in the lead. She chose not to indulge the Astronomer in a war of words and opinions. She was convinced the sport was only part science and part practice with a hint of chance.
Seren did however, duck and lean to the side in an effort to miss the spray of gob. Ugh. UUUGGGHHH. It was disgusting stuff, and it was supposed to hit the players, not her! She wiped her sleeve at a patch that landed on her robes, it was sickly, but could be dealt with later. Candice was having her shot!...
Leaning forward in her seat, she watched as the first year rolled her stone toward the jack.
"Bravo!" she cheered with two thumbs up as she saw now close it got. It was a fantastic shot.
Finding that her arms shot down to her sides almost involuntarily, Seren hunched her shoulders forward. It was chilllyyyyyyy. Feeling her teeth begin to chatter, she shoved her hands deep into her pockets and kept her arms pinned to her sides in an effort to trap some of her body heat in the folds of her red robes.
