Cris helped Jasmine start the music and then stepped back as Jasmine began to dance. His mouth gaped open in awe when he saw the way she moved and danced. She was literally poetry in motion. The way Jasmine spun and leaped into the air with such ease was beautiful to watch. From her facial expression and even in her every movement, Cris could tell that she was pouring her every emotion into her dance.
...and when she ended with her arms outstretched towards him, Cris moved into them and placed his arms around her waist. "If that was just something off the top of the head, I can't wait to see something that you've choreographed and practiced. What you just danced was awesome. Thank you for dancing for me," Cris smiled down tenderly at Jasmine.
"Seeing you dance like that, there's no way I'm going to show you my dance moves. Next to your fairy ballerina moves, I'll look like a dancing toad," he grinned down at her.
....that is if what he did could actually be classified as dance moves.
Jasmine finished her dance and looked at Cris. Did he like it? When he moved into her embrace, she hugged him and smiled.
"Aaaaaw, thank you. You were my inspiration. And you are quite welcome. I'll dance for you anytime."
When Cris said that he wouldn't show her his dance moves, she frowned.
"Oh come on now. This isn't a competition and besides, that was ballerina Jasmine. Hip hop Jasmine is a totally different story." Jasmine was hoping that she didn't have to resort to the puppy dog eyes again.
"You would make me very happy if you would dance, but.........you don't have to do it right now if you don't want to. I'll take a rain check." Suddenly Jasmine remembered something.
"We have to make sure that you get a chance to have the Room of Requirement become what you want it to be."
