It wasn't Angel's fault that Benny chose to hang out with her. AJ knew about the bromance and she could tell in the short time that she has known the boys that they were really close. "Angel may not always stand up for herself, but I will always have her back. I think you owe her an apology." She deserved that much.
This conversation felt so natural because she always had to go in between her two sisters at home. AJ also had to defend Angel when people would pick on her at school. "Benjamin also needs to make time for you too, but that again is not Angel's fault." Now most likely wouldn't be the best time to bring up the fact that AJ was going to try to hook them up. She wanted to talk to Adi more about the subject, but she could see the defeated look on his face. "Ok, but I'm here if you ever need to talk." Granted that would only be true if he did apologize to Angel.
Adi raised his eyebrows. He wasn't sure if anyone would understand what he meant but maybe AJ did after all. He exhaled deeply.
"Yeah, well, she'll get her apology,'' he said not sulkily at all. He did loose his temper, right? So yeah. He would apologize to Angel.
"No, I don't care. He can do whatever he wants.'' Adi was firm on that. Let the other guy did what he liked. Adi wasn't too fussy anymore, to be honest. It's not like Benny tried to find out what set him off, anyway. AJ was right and wrong at the same time. It wasn't Angel's fault in a way but yet it was.
"I don't talk about feelings.'' Mumbling. He was doing it again. What was up with the mumbling today?
