... man. If it had been the poo!fish librarian he'd be able to talk his way out of it easily, but Bellaire was as Slytherin as he was so he knew that wouldn't work.

He straightened up. "Yes ma'am." Three feet was really bloody far though. He was rarely even that far away from Theo when they hung out.

Anyway, the look on his face told her that West had a lot to say...but as luck would have it, that 'awful thing' about open spaces seemed to become real life.

An interruption. From a professor. A Slytherin professor, at that.

Blushing at professor Bellaire's tone of voice and mini!speech, she backed away from West, dropping his hand as he straightened up. "Yes, professor."

As if to prove to the older woman that they were apologetic and all, Ves retook her space on the cushioned window set and resumed her sketch. Mind, her hands were a bit shakier than before....but the distraction would work wonders. Maybe.
