Should she tell him that she and Culloden were brewing it together this term as an educational thing? It was supposed to be a secret - but they were besties - but... no. When she thought of the tone the professor had used to inform her how big of a secret was that they were going to be brewing it on their own, she decided it wasn't worth it. Sharing half the vial with Tobes was enough for now. "...I'm glad we'll get to try it without any of that hassle." Hehe. True.
His happiness was her happiness, then, as he turned to face her. Giving his hand a giddy squeeze after he laced his fingers with hers, she beamed. "I'm glad you like it all. And you haven't even tasted the cake yet." HEHE. "Wanna head down? S'calling your name." She eyed the box in his hand, then nudged him a little, "And you've still gotta do your cracker." In case he forgot with all the other cool things he had.
Oblivious to Soph's inner conflict, Toby was already running through the different scenarios in which he could use his half of the potion. Right now, nothing struck him as incredibly important, so he'd be putting it to one side for a while, until he really did need it.
That stupid grin was still on his face. The grin that Sophie probably saw more than any other person who knew Toby, and the Hufflepuff gave a nod. Ah yes. Cake.
"Cake sounds like the best idea."
But oh yes, the cracker. Toby delved into the box again and pulled it out. He got to his feet, and offered a hand to Soph to help her up, before offering her the other end of the cracked.
"Will you do the honours?" he said, in a mock-pompous voice.
