The tears could be heard from behind him and he felt oddly hurt by them as if at fault for them himself despite Adi being the cause. What was going on here? Whay was this happening? Plenty of questions were running through his mind and the Gryffindor felt utterly clueless to the answers.
And now his remark had only made his friend happy. The use of hippogriff no doubt given his friend's fondness for the creature. So insulting Adi was not being noticed much by the Hufflepuff. Only the presence of Angel as the taunts and insults spewing from the other boy seemed aimed entirely at her. A fact that sent her off crying away from the confrontation at the tree.
