Like I said, words don't mean much to me so I don't invest time in being able to explain things and give answers." Unhelpful, yes, not her fault. "You can never go wrong with chocolate though." Perhaps a spout more of unhelpfulness but it was either that or shutting up and reading the book.
After cracking open the book once more, she glanced over the top, watching him finally get up. Least she knew he wouldn't leave her to die a dull death. Extra chocolate frog points right there. Lex glued her eyes to the page, pretending to not notice him as he got closer until there was no more pretending with him leaning over and messing with her hair. She tried hiding her smile as she looked up at him again. "I already said I didn't need you for anything." Because it wasn't that urgent if she was being honest about it. More like a whim. She was allowed those, yes? "I just ate and there's time for distractions later." With a firm nod added. "Just saw you napping is all and you can get riiiight back to that. Don't let me stop you." Except that's exactly what she was trying to do, stop him, only...indirectly?
"Keep being stubborn and you'll burn out completely, then you'll be of no use to your girlfriend that needs you." JUST SAYING.
That explained the whole not liking to use the word 'worry' for anything. Because she didn't worry, but did? Lex just couldn't find the proper word to use. Maybe Jun should get her a thesaurus and she'll find the word in there.
"You obviously aren't too great with words. At least certain words. But actions speak loud than them, right?" And of course her type of affection would be with chocolate. Anything with chocolate. But Jun already knew that so it didn't really count. Not to him at least.
"I already know that. What about something else?" Something only a boyfriend can do. He could probably earn brownie points too. As if he needed them anyway.
Now she didn't need him?
"Then why'd you--" Jun didn't even want to finish that sentence. Sighing, he moves away from her and headed back to the couch he was previously on. Picking up his parchment and quill, the boy headed to a table and continue writing his letter. Or at least was still trying. Twirling the quill in his left hand, Jun finally managed to think of something to write. No point in getting annoyed with Lex; it would only end up bad.
"My girlfriend doesn't need me now so I might as well keep going," He said, without looking up and continues scribbling away.
"Besides, I'm taking a two week break after this week. Might as well rest up a bit,"
