Toby had been perfectly willing to help Zahra out after Thompson had suggested it. He was still in pretty high spirits after the high energy lesson, and so it was almost impossible to stop himself laughing. Almost. He was, however, kinda smiling.

"That's true," he replied. his voice echoing around the vast Entrance Hall as they crossed it. "I suppose a few war wounds is nothing compared to losing points, huh?"

If he had noticed the maybe-crying at all, Toby had the grace to pretend that he hadn't. He was super nice like that.

"Never had you down as the type to try and rescue a garden gnome, I have to say."
