Didn't the asker of that question ALWAYS know they were interrupting? Still, she was in a good mood with the potential of a great amount of chocolate ahead of her, so the Headmistress smiled at this newcomer as well.

"Nooooo, not interrupting anything at all...." She gestured toward the dessert with her free hand. "Want a brownie? Miss Abigda--- Adawha---" Erm, what was the girl's name again? "Miss Adina Mendenzl was just passing them out."

Sounded about right, didn't it?

"Helllllllo?" The redhead returned yet another greeting echoing toward her down the hall. "Can I help you?" Was SHE here to join the brownie party TOO? Hmmph. Bunz supposed there were enough for three.

Now that she thought about it they probably did...why would the floor be referred to as the dungeons if there weren't actually any dungeons on it? But why were there dungeons and what were they used for? Is that where the bad students went? Or was there something worse hiding down there? With that thought, Hayden almost turned and ran back upstairs, but she couldn't. Not before seeing what was actually on the dungeon level. Wasn't there a common room down there or something?

And what was that SMELL? It wasn't constant, thank goodness, but every so often she caught a whiff and it definitely did not smell pleasant. Hayden kept walking along... some sort of dark scary hallway and hoped she come out somewhere she was supposed to be. There was no one around to ask for directions. But WAIT! There were. She rounded the corner and saw two people, both of them looked older than her. One looked WAY older than her. And she looked familiar...

...Was she the headmistress? "Am I interrupting something?" She asked nervously. Why would the headmistress be having a meeting with a student in the middle of this dark scary hallway? What kind of a headmistress was she? Wait, were those brownies?

It was just too dark and creepy and… it smelled like… well, based on the smell, it was not well ventilated.

So she must've made a wrong turn after she left the bathrooms.

Kate frowned and paused. Were those voices? There were people down here! They could help her find her way out and save her from the creepy tunnel! Kate hurried toward the sound of people talking, not caring how loudly her footsteps were. Yes! People! She slowed down when she could see them.

"Hi!" she said, her enthusiasm echoing the relief she felt. Oh--was that Hayden? And that was one of the professors, right? And…somebody else. Kate looked over her shoulder. Nope, nobody behind her.

Adelaide smiled politely at the headmistress. Hopefully she could add another pleased person to her list.

She smiled sweetly as a younger girl (Hayden) stumbled down the passage, clearly lost. Addi giggled lightly as the headmistress tried to remember her name. Wasn't like she'd had much interaction with her. Even if there was quidditch. "It's Adelaide Adams, miss. And you can have one if you'd like too." She said smiling sweetly at the younger girl.

Oh look. Another little lost one (Kate). She smiled at her too.
