Especially because there was a curfew and Kate was likely to get lost on her way back to the common room (she had gotten lost every time she'd tried to find the common room on her own thus far). "It is kind of late. We should probably go."

After all, they didn't want to get in trouble so early in the school year. Kate led the way to the planetarium door so they could return to their respective common rooms.
