"It's like you say 'I'll keep that in mind'," See? He pays attention even though there's a lot of distractions going on. More like he needed to in case she wanted him to remember something. But then Jun would just write it down in his notebook.
Snort.
"A girl? Yes. You? Definitely not," That was a given. Jun knew perfectly well, from months of being friends and months of dating, that Lex wouldn't come near the library to read. She'd come for other reasons. "And can't a guy sleep on the couch without his girlfriend poking his face to wake up?" Note those tired eyes, Lex? The boy was practicing too much lately and needed a break. The couch was not as comfortable as his bed, but he'll make due until his dorm mates decided to settle down.
Lex watched him sitting up, wondering if he'd finally realized all plans of a nap had been crushed the moment she spotted him. Poor him actually. What she hadn't expected was suddenly being pulled into a kiss. She didn't pull away immediately but it didn't last that long either considering she wasn't too eager to spend an evening down in the Lover's Lair. Ugh.
"Experimenting. You're such a Ravenclaw." She said with a playful roll of her eyes as she straightened on the arm rest once again. Trying out names just to see what would happened. Actually, maybe that was more a Gryffindor thing. Lex grinned at her own words being quoted at her.
"You do that. Next time you might get a smack for it." Or not, but some light hexing might happening.
Jun had a valid point right there. Anyone else would be able to get away with that excuse, rather easily too. Was there anyone at Hogwarts that didn't know her distaste for reading? It was too late to be sure it wasn't overly publicized but then that wasn't so bad. At least no one would try recommending things to her. As for his question.
"A boy? Yes. You? Not when you've got me for a girlfriend." And they weren't looking to change that so.....wakey wakey. He
did look tired though, dark circles around his eyes and all.
"You've been over-working yourself again, haven't you?" A deep scowl set in.
He promised he wouldn't.
