Caleb was going to try his absolute best to NOT get bitten or anything like that, so he took a small piece of steak and headed over to the plants. He was a pretty good shot because of his chasing and stuff last term in Quidditch, so he figured he was going to be able to toss it in easily.
"Here, little plant!" he called, walking over to one of the piranha plants. It seemed harmless enough, and once it smelled him approaching with the steak, it perked up and it's mouth opened.
One, two...three! He tossed it in, and the plant caught it expertly. Nice! That was kind of fun, he thought as he watched it munch on the yummy steak.
